The Good Samaritan's Cancer Center (GSCC) and Korum for Kids nets $70,000 while golfer hole's out for a new car.

The GSCC and Korum for Kids hosted its 15th Annual Golf Classic at High Cedars Golf Club on July, 20th. The GSCC raked in more than $70,000 but Dayne Huber accomplished one of golf's greatest challenges. He aced the 190 yard, par 3, eighth hole at High Cedars, earning himself a $27,000 new car. It was a 2005 350Z offered by Puyallup Nissan. It was Huber's first ever hole-in-one! Congratulations Dayne!!!

CGA Lures in Fishermen

The members of the Sturdivant Island Tuna Tournament prepared for their 7th annual tournament on August 5th. Fishermen readied their gear in hopes of setting a new Maine state record for a grand prize of $25,000. The tournament was limited to 40 pre-registered boats. This is the second year Harry's Honda & Mitsubishi have sponsored the fishing tournament. This annual event has been a huge success since CGA helped Harry's Honda & Mitsubishi attract anglers because of its high stakes prize money.

Car Dealership Rev's Up Sales With $10,000 Direct Mail Winner!

Robert Linn drove up to Fremont Motors looking for a new truck, and instead, walked out with $10,000.

Six thousand direct mail packages were mailed out to prospective Wyoming customers. Each package contained a quick video featuring cars and prizes available during the sales event, and a unique six digit number.

To participate, customers must bring in their videotape and number to Fremont Motors. If the six digit number matches the number posted, the customer wins BIG! Linn then purchased a new truck from Fremont Motors, after winning the CGA guaranteed prize.

This promotion helped to increase traffic and sales for Fremont Motors. In fact, the dealership was so pleased with the results, they contracted with CGA for an additional 3 months of the promotion. Everyone was a big winner!

Gentlemen...Start Your Engines

Bristol Motor Speedway “Home of Racin’ the Way it Ought to Be” and the pinnacle of racing in the south, offered contestants suite and victory lane access, as well as, cash, and a chance to win prizes through promotions from CGA. By working with CGA, Bristol Motor Speedway offered two contests on August 25th. The first contest took place during the USAR Pro Cup Food City 150. One lucky contestant was selected from a number of entries received at the five prior Hooters Pro Cup races. The lucky contestant won a suite and victory lane access, at Bristol Motor Speedway, as well as a chance to randomly select a driver. Should that chosen driver have won the race, the contestant would win $5,000 and the driver would win $5,000.

The #92 truck of Kevin Harvick was the basis for our second lucky contestant. If the #92 truck of Harvick won the race, the contestant won $9,200. Sports Fest Attracts A Crowd
at Local Basketball Game

This year’s annual Sports Fest 2004 was sponsored by the South Bend Tribune and WSBT TV & Radio. The event brought together more than 400 high school athletes, in seven different sports, for a week of all star contests. One contest was a timed progressive shot covered by CGA. Two lucky contestants were randomly selected from the crowd at a basketball game, and each had an attempt to make a lay-up, free throw, three point shot, and half court shot, all within 24 seconds. With CGA providing the coverage, WSBT and the South Bend Tribune were able to offer a $10,000 grand prize, at a fraction of the prize value. This gained recognition and exposure for the South Bend Tribune and WSBT, as well as adding excitement to the entire event.

Cronin Ford used this promotion to increase traffic into their dealership. Cronin had 300 lucky contestants attempt to throw six dice and try to spell C-R-O-N-I-N. CGA provided Cronin with six customized dice spelling CRONIN on one side and dollar signs on the remainder. Each contestant rolled the dice from a cup, rolling from a minimum of three feet.
